We just got back from vacation. It's the first one I've ever done in December that I remember. We took a train ride to Tampa, FL. We spent the night down town and enjoyed the sites in the city. I had a very happy birthday. I turned 45 today. My wonderful hubby encouraged me to have friends over on Friday night. We swam and scrapbooked! I love that Jonathan got involved with the band this school year. Since October, he has learned so much--how to read music, how to play the trombone. We are so proud of him. Last Saturday, he attended the DeCapo band clinic, an honors band clinic for 6th grade students from all over Aiken County. We are so proud he was chosen to go. Great job, Jonathan! Had a great Monday. The kids were out of school, and I called my friend Linda at the last minute on Sunday and asked her if she wanted to go out for lunch and take the kids to the zoo. And she did! What a start to my week! I had my yearly check-up with my ob-gyn and a mammogram yesterday, and today I had a follow-up with my allergist.
