Bedtime Routine

Ever since Matthew was a baby, he has had some sort of routine at bed time. That child THRIVES on routine.
So here is Matthew getting ready to brush his teeth. I let him start, and then I finish, since the brushing at bedtime is the most important of the day we're told. He got in bed kind of late for a Saturday night. He just HAD to watch the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards on TV. His bedtime routine is usually something like this:
  • use the potty
  • take Singulair
  • use Nasonex nasal spray
  • brush and floss teeth
  • rinse with fluoride rinse
  • most nights, a bedtime story followed by a Bible story/devotional and prayers

Since last night was an extremely late night for me, I'm off to join him in dreamland soon. Have a great Sunday.

  1. my kids used to thrive on routine...but when we moved here, and had to live in a hotel for 3 weeks, most of that routine went out the window. Scotty still wants his story read, but no longer wants his music on...Hannah reads to herself and has also gotten away from music. Ah...change is not always good.
